Frequently asked questions about pricing
Can I change plans at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade from your WordPress dashboard at any time. The new plan is billed immediately and replaces the old one (no proration in v1). Downgrading takes effect at the next billing date.
What happens at the end of the free trial?
When your 30-day trial expires you will receive an email inviting you to subscribe to a paid plan. If you don't, the chatbot is automatically deactivated on your site. Your data is kept for a further 30 days so you can export it if you wish. No credit card has been charged.
Is there a minimum commitment?
No. The subscription is month-to-month with no minimum term. You can cancel at any time from your WordPress dashboard (link to the Stripe portal). The chatbot remains active until the end of the period already paid, then stops — no pro-rata refund.
What's the difference between BYOK and Managed?
With the BYOK plan, you create an account with an LLM provider of your choice (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral…), generate your API key, and paste it into Chatbot Flow's configuration. Your LLM costs are billed directly by the provider. Messages are unlimited on the Chatbot Flow side.
With the Managed plan, we manage the LLM: you don't need to configure anything. 1,000 messages/month are included in your subscription. It's the simplest way to get started without any technical knowledge.
Is VAT correctly handled for my business?
Yes. If your business is established outside Belgium with a valid EU VAT number, VAT is automatically exempted (B2B reverse charge) — Stripe validates your number via VIES in real time at checkout. For individuals and Belgian businesses, Belgian VAT at 21% is included in the displayed price. Invoices are automatically issued by Stripe each month.
